Magnolia Ip, O.D.

Meet Dr. Magnolia Ip of Mount Vernon Eyecare, the leading provider of vision care products and services in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Dr. magnolia Ip
Dr. Magnolia Ip grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. After high school, she moved to Columbus for her undergraduate studies in microbiology at The Ohio State University. She continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and received her Doctorate of Optometry in May 2019.

Dr. Ip’s journey with optometry began when she was 7 years old. She was asked to read the board at school but she was unable to see the small words on the board. Afterward, she went to her first eye exam and was prescribed glasses. She was amazed that a pair of glasses could provide her with clear vision. Dr. Ip has always wanted to pursue a career that helped others and in her undergraduate studies, she decided she wanted to help others see.

Dr. Ip enjoys getting to know her patients personally and addressing all of their vision concerns. Her goal is to provide personalized care. She has a special interest in ocular disease such as dry eye and glaucoma.

During her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking new recipes, cheering on the Buckeyes and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
